Sophi Kim has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Starting in 2007, they worked as a Financial Analyst Intern at Goldman Sachs. Sophi then joined the United States Navy in 2009 as a Lieutenant and Department Head, where they led a team of over 50 Sailors and Marines and completed multiple deployments. In 2014, they interned as an MBA Intern at Apple, focusing on Retail Global Expansion. Sophi moved on to UnitedHealth Group in 2015, where they served as the Director of Operations for the SCA Health subsidiary, working with C-level executives to implement a new strategic vision. In 2017, they joined Amazon as a Principal Technical Product Manager, contributing to product development until 2021. From 2022 to 2023, they worked as the Chief Product Officer at Shelf Engine, leading the Product and Design functions to support the company's mission of reducing food waste through automation. Currently, Sophi works at Axon as the Principal of the Learning Management System (LMS) Platform, starting in 2023.

Sophi Kim earned a BA in Economics from Northwestern University. Sophi later pursued further education at Harvard Business School, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
