Iker Almandoz is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in software development and engineering leadership. Currently serving as Vice President of Software Development at AXON Networks since October 2024, Iker previously held the same position at DZS, overseeing R&D teams responsible for the Expresse and CloudCheck solutions. Iker's tenure at ASSIA, Inc. spanned from 2004 to 2022, where significant contributions were made as Vice President of Expresse Software Development, leading teams that supported deployments in over 25 Content Service Providers worldwide. Earlier roles at ASSIA included Senior Director of Engineering for Europe and LATAM, where Iker established the company's first overseas office in Madrid, and Director of European Engineering. Iker's career commenced as a Software Engineer at GFI Informatica.
