Chris Hingst is an experienced aviation professional with a diverse background in corporate and commercial piloting. Currently serving as a Check Airman and Corporate Pilot at Axis Jet since February 2022, Chris previously held the position of Captain at Compass Airlines, flying the Embraer ERJ-170 under FAR Part 121 and ensuring safe operations for industry partners. Chris's earlier roles include First Officer positions at Compass Airlines and ExpressJet Airlines, operating the Embraer 170 and 145 respectively, where valuable experience was gained flying throughout the U.S. and Mexico. Chris's foundational skills were developed in the U.S. Coast Guard, serving as an Aircraft Commander and overseeing operations and training. In addition to aviation, Chris has experience in real estate as a Sales Consultant at Lyon Real Estate, demonstrating strong negotiation and market analysis skills. Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Management from Saint Leo University.
