Shayan Hosseini is a Founding Engineer at Axiom, with previous experience as a Software Engineer at Neon and a Systems Researcher at The University of British Columbia, where notable achievements included designing a high-performing distributed key-value store and publishing research at the ASPLOS conference. Earlier positions include a Research Intern at Microsoft, leading a team at Cafe Bazaar to develop a unified cloud services product, and contributing significantly as a Senior Software Engineer in building a multi-tenant CDN service. Shayan has a Master's degree in Computer Science from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Tehran, along with teaching experience in computer science at the University of Tehran.
