Stephen Taylor is a software engineer specializing in spacesuit avionics at Axiom Space since October 2021, where Stephen develops training software for NASA's next-generation spacesuit. Previously, Stephen held positions at Axiom Space as a mechanical engineer focusing on integrated performance and analysis, and at Bossa Nova Robotics as a team lead overseeing remote operations and data collection. Early career experiences include subcontracting for house painting and renovation, serving as an undergraduate research assistant with the Microgravity Research Team developing technology for reduced gravity environments, and participating in the University Rover Challenge as part of the programming team. Stephen earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University, graduating in 2019.
