Abi Diaz is a highly experienced engineering professional currently serving as a Staff Mechanical Engineer at Axiom Space since December 2022. Prior to this role, Abi held the position of Senior Aeronautical Engineer at Lockheed Martin from June 2018 to December 2022. Academic experience includes contributions as a Plasma Laboratory Research Assistant at Texas A&M University from August 2016 to May 2018 and a brief tenure as a Test Equipment Engineer at SpaceX in the summer of 2017. Abi's earlier career includes various roles at Baker Hughes from July 2012 to August 2015, including Region Engineer - Completions and Completions Engineer positions. Abi holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
