Carolina McGarity's work experience begins in 2014 when they were a Legal Intern at the Western Environmental Law Center. In 2017, they worked as a Paralegal II at Chin & Curtis, LLP. Starting in 2013, Carolina held various roles at Middlebury College, including Digital Museum Intern, Undergraduate Thesis Project, Digital Media Tutor, Museum Assistance Program (MAP) Intern, and Curatorial Assistant. In 2018, they joined edX as a Customer Success Associate and later became a Senior Customer Success Associate, where they executed a UX passion project. In 2021, Carolina worked at Delinea as a Product Designer before joining Axio in 2022 in the same role.

Carolina McGarity attended Middlebury College from 2013 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. Their major was History of Art and Architecture, with a minor in French. In 2016, they also attended Middlebury Language Schools for an intensive program in Advanced French. In 2015, Carolina studied at Université de Poitiers, focusing on Art History and French.

In addition to their formal education, Carolina obtained several certifications. In 2019, they completed the "Digital Branding and Engagement" program at Curtin University, the "User Experience Design Bootcamp" at General Assembly, and the "HubSpot Marketing Fundamentals" course offered by HubSpot.
