Andres Calvera is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in account management and commercial leadership within the telecommunications and satellite communications sectors. Currently serving as the Commercial Director of Strategic and Premium Accounts at AXESS Networks since September 2018, Calvera has previously held roles such as Commercial Manager and Regional Account Manager at AXESS Americas. Prior to this, Calvera worked at Axesat from June 2013 to August 2018, where responsibilities included regional account management and customer support engineering. Early experience at Telefonica Movistar as a Data Engineer provided foundational skills in technology and customer interaction. Academically, Calvera holds a Postgraduate degree in Marketing Management from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, an English qualification from VIVA College Australia, and a degree in Electronic Engineering with a focus on Satellite Communications from Universidad Santo Tom獺s.
