Jack Ma worked as a Java Developer at AXE Group starting in February 2020. Before that, they were an IT Consultant at DX Solutions from February 2019 to February 2020, where they were part of a team of over 200 employees and worked with a variety of public and private sector clients. Jack also briefly served as a Test Automation Consultant at DX Solutions from April 2019 to September 2019. Prior to their time at DX Solutions, they worked as a Customer Service Representative at MSY TECHNOLOGY PTY LTD from February 2018 to February 2019.

Jack Ma completed their bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the University of Newcastle, from 2015 to 2018. Additionally, they obtained a certificate of completion of the AWS cloud practitioner course from Udemy in January 2020, and the ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing from the International Software Testing Qualifications Board in February 2019.
