Wouter Zweers is an experienced Technology Manager at AWL Techniek since April 2010, specializing in R&D projects related to industrial automation, particularly in welding technologies, production automation, E-mobility, additive manufacturing, advanced materials, and robotics. In addition, Wouter Zweers serves as a part-time Lecturer in Welding Technology at the University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, focusing on laser welding and resistance welding in the International Welding Engineer program. Previous roles include Engineer Research & Development and Application Engineer at Karmann, where responsibilities included advanced engineering projects in laser welding and innovative joining technologies, along with training staff. Wouter Zweers also has experience as an intern at AVL in combustion engine development. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Twente, an MBA from Buckinghamshire New University/University of Applied Sciences Osnabrück, and certification as an International Welding Engineer from SLV Hannover.
