Bert Verschoren has a diverse work experience. Bert is currently working at Awell Health as the Head of Delivery since September 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Project Manager at Awell Health from November 2020 to October 2021. Bert also worked at Valisana as a Project coordinator for Quality and Accreditation from March 2018 to October 2020. Before that, they were a Consultant at Omni Care Consult from August 2016 to August 2017 and a Customer Service Manager at Mobitrace from February 2016 to July 2016. Bert started their career as a Critical Care Nurse at UZ Brussel from September 2012 to February 2016. Bert also worked as a Verpleegkundige Intensieve Zorgen at UZ Leuven from June 2012 to September 2012, as a Verpleegkundige at AZ Jan Portaels from January 2012 to June 2012, as a Verpleegkundige at Hospital Vithas Xanit Internacional from April 2011 to September 2011, and as a Leerkracht Engels at The Kermode Canadian Center from September 2010 to June 2011.

Bert Verschoren has a Master's degree in Management en Beleid in de Gezondheidszorg from KU Leuven, which they completed from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Sociaal Werk from Katholieke Hogeschool Leuven from 2008 to 2010, and a Bachelor's degree in Verpleegkunde from the same institution from 2005 to 2008. In addition to their formal education, Bert has obtained certifications in Change Management from Amelior - Training & Consulting and in PRINCE2® Foundation from PeopleCert in 2019 and 2018 respectively.
