Jess Williams has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Jess began their career as a News Intern at 4ZZZ Radio in 2012 and later worked as an Intern at culture Mag. In 2013, they served as a Stylist at The Babushka Ballerina. Jess then joined culture Magazine / pop|culture Creative as an Editorial Assistant and Accounts Manager from 2014 to 2015. In 2015, they became the PR & Marketing Coordinator / Social Media Manager at the Australian Hairdressing Council. From 2018 to 2020, they worked at Sweaty Betty PR as a Publicist and at Social Soup (Australia & NZ) as a Social Media Manager. In 2020, they became a Senior Content Manager at HYLAND Division | Havas Media Group. In 2021, they joined The Journal Magazine and Awaken as a Writer and a Social Media Manager respectively.

From 2011 to 2014, Jess Williams attended The University of Queensland, where they pursued a Bachelor of Journalism degree in the field of Social Sciences.
