Mikko Timoharju has extensive work experience in various roles across different companies. Mikko is currently employed as a Site Reliability Engineer at AWAKE.AI since July 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Houston Inc. for over a decade starting in 2009. At Houston Inc., they held multiple roles including Agile Coach, Key Account Manager, and Senior Consultant.

Before joining Houston Inc., Mikko worked as a Software Engineer at Accenture Technology Solutions from August 2007 to October 2009. Mikko gained experience in different projects, specifically in the financial and telecom sectors.

In addition, Mikko has worked as a Product Development Engineer at Elekta Neuromag Ltd. in 2007, contributing to the development of Magnetoencephalographic (MEG) devices and analysis software for brain-generated electromagnetic signals.

Furthermore, they worked as a Researcher at BioMag Laboratory, Helsinki University Central Hospital in 2006, where they focused on the development of biomedical signal processing algorithms in the field of biomedical cardiac research.

Lastly, Mikko worked as a Research Assistant at the Laboratory of Biomedical Engineering, Helsinki University of Technology from 2004 to 2006. In this role, they contributed to the development of biomedical signal processing algorithms in the Cardiac Research group.

Mikko Timoharju completed their Master of Science (Tech.) degree in Biomedical Engineering, Computer and Information Science from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan. Mikko attended this institution from 2000 to 2006. In addition, Mikko obtained a certification as a Certified ScrumMaster from ScrumAlliance in February 2010.
