Niranjan Lekkala has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple companies. Niranjan is currently working at AWAK Technologies as a Senior Staff Engineer since July 2022. Prior to that, they worked at BD where they held the positions of Lead Engineer from January 2022 to June 2022 and Senior Design Engineer from October 2019 to December 2021. Before BD, Niranjan worked at Philips as a Mechanical Designer from July 2017 to September 2019. Earlier in their career, they gained valuable experience at Whirlpool Corporation as a Senior Engineer from July 2013 to June 2017.

Niranjan Lekkala PMP®, CSEP completed their education at two institutions. From 2007 to 2011, they studied at Velagapudi Ramakrishna Siddhartha Engineering College, earning a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Niranjan then pursued a Master of Technology (MTech) degree in Mechanical Design from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, from 2011 to 2013.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Niranjan has obtained several certifications throughout their career. Niranjan achieved the Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) certification from Whirlpool Corporation in July 2016. Niranjan also received the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification from the Project Management Institute in July 2021.

Niranjan further expanded their skill set by obtaining the DFSS Foundation certification from BD in February 2021 and the ISO 13485:2016 Implementation Training Course certification from BSI in February 2021. Lastly, they acquired the Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) credential from INCOSE in June 2022.
