Greg Smith has extensive experience in helicopter survivability, currently serving in roles at AVX Aircraft Company focused on evaluating survivability using Operations Research tools since June 2018, and as a consultant at Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. since May 2016. Before these positions, Greg Smith enjoyed a long tenure at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, culminating in retirement in May 2016 after roles including Lockheed Martin Fellow and Fellow Emeritus. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, completed between 1975 and 1980.
