Bart Keulen is an AI Engineer at Avular since July 2022, where contributions include delivering a proof-of-concept high-precision visual guidance system and developing a vision library for an Autopilot solution utilizing advanced deep learning techniques. Prior to this, Bart worked as a Research Assistant at Leopold-Franzens Universität Innsbruck, collaborating on research projects and conducting lectures on Machine Learning and related subjects. As a Co-Founder and Software Developer at Slick Tech and DIYLasercutting, Bart developed web applications and an online laser cutting service, respectively. Experience also includes a role as a Research Scholar at IHMC, focusing on reinforcement learning frameworks. Bart holds a PhD candidacy in Machine Learning from Universität Innsbruck and multiple degrees from Delft University of Technology, including a Master’s in Systems and Control and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering.
