Simon de Koning is a seasoned professional in the fields of waste management and circular economy, currently serving as a Policy Advisor for environmental street and circular craft centers at Avri since March 2023. Previously, Simon has held roles such as Waste Manager and Advisor at Bruut Consultancy, and Senior Consultant for Waste & Resources at Stantec, where responsibilities included consultancy and change management. Earlier experience includes positions as a Senior Consultant at GMT Europe, focusing on business consulting for waste and recycling, and as a Business Consultant at Meurs Software Nederland. Simon has an MSc in Business Administration from Radboud University and has furthered education in industrial safety technology and technical business administration at various institutions, including Delft University of Technology and Hogeschool van Utrecht.
