Graeme Sutherland has extensive experience in construction management, currently serving as Principal Construction Manager at Avove Ltd since April 2022. Previously, Graeme held the same title at Amey from 2012 to April 2022, where responsibilities included construction activities, design and client liaison, estimating, resourcing, programming, contract management, and Health and Safety, with a focus on the North East region. Prior to Amey, Graeme worked at Byzak Ltd from 1995 to 2012, serving as Construction Manager and Contracts Manager, overseeing various construction projects in the region. Graeme's career began at Kennedy Construction from 1986 to 1995, where roles included Site Agent and Site Engineer, managing tunnelling projects and quality control. Graeme holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, completed between 1982 and 1986.
