Jerita Simpson is a highly experienced professional currently serving as the Quality of Life Program Manager at Avondale Development Corporation since November 2022. Previously, Jerita held the position of Community Projects Director at The Center for Closing the Health Gap, where responsibilities included directing health and wellness programming initiatives. Additional experience includes roles as OAACHD Project Director for the Ohio African American Coalition on Health Disparities, Assistant Property Manager at The Community Builders', Inc., and various finance and research positions. Jerita holds a Master of Business Administration in Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Ohio University, along with a Certificate in Construction Management from Turner Construction Company.
