Ashley Heitzenroder is an experienced nursing professional currently serving as an Orthopedic Trauma Nurse at UPMC Montefiore Hospital since August 2024. In addition, Ashley holds the position of Healthcare Simulation Intern at Avkin and has been a Home Healthcare Aide for a quadriplegic since June 2021. Previously, Ashley worked as a Summer Literacy Corps Member with AmeriCorps, providing virtual literacy instruction to students and preparing individualized lessons. Prior experience includes a role in kitchen staff at El Diablo Restaurant. Ashley earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Delaware and completed secondary education at Archmere Academy.
