Birgitte Torben has extensive experience in leadership and continuous improvement, currently serving as a Board Member at AVK Nederland BV since April 2024 and as an employee-elected board member and Head of Group LEAN at AVK Holding A/S since July 2016. Notable previous roles include Director of Change Management at LEGO Group, where Birgitte led a leadership change program and oversaw the development of internal Continuous Improvement Consultants. Birgitte has also contributed as a CEO/Owner of Menfor, specializing in organizational change projects, and held various positions in Lean project management across companies such as Danfoss A/S and Venti A/S. Birgitte holds a Master of Science degree in Engineering, Industrial Management from Aalborg University.
