Reda Mekdad has a diverse work experience, starting with their most recent role as a Project Engineer at Aviwell, which began in January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Engineer at Institut Curie from October 2021 to January 2023. Before that, they served as an Ingénieur d'études at Institut de Génétique Humaine from September 2020 to September 2021. They also worked as an Ingénieur d’études at INRAE from January 2020 to April 2020 and at Institut National de Recherche Agronomique (INRA) from January 2019 to January 2020. Lastly, they worked as an Assistant professor at RWTH Aachen University & UMI from September 2018 to February 2019.

REDA Mekdad pursued their education at various institutions. From 2018 to 2019, they attended Aix-Marseille University, where they completed a Master 2 (M2) degree in the field of Bioinformatics. During the same period, they also engaged in a M2 internship at TAGC & IMBE, focusing on Biomathematics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology. Prior to this, from 2017 to 2019, REDA Mekdad obtained a Master's degree in Bioinformatics from Université Moulay Ismail Meknès. Their earlier academic pursuit includes a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from University Moulay Ismail from 2012 to 2016.
