Frits Berger is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in various roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as a Software Engineer at Avisi Solutions since July 2017, Frits has focused on developing a real-time 24x7 monitoring solution for a client in the semiconductor industry, utilizing technologies such as Kafka, Scala, and Cassandra. Prior to this, Frits worked as a Senior Java Developer at MeteoGroup Nederland, where responsibilities included coaching and serving as Scrum Master while developing high-profile cloud-based solutions. Frits's career also includes positions as a Lead Developer at GeoTax and a J2EE Developer at Fa-med B.V., with an early role as a Java Developer at ING. Frits holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Radboud University and a degree in Computer Science from the University of Twente.
