Seshagiri Raghukumar is an accomplished mycologist and marine microbiologist with over 30 years of research experience. Currently serving as Chief Scientific Officer at Avisa Myko Inc since September 2019, Seshagiri Raghukumar actively promotes innovative applications of an affordable, soluble melanin derived from a proprietary fungus in cosmetics and radiation shielding. As Managing Director of Myko Tech Private Limited since February 2005, Seshagiri Raghukumar leverages extensive expertise in mycology. Previously, Seshagiri Raghukumar held the position of Scientist at the National Institute of Oceanography (CSIR) from October 1982 to February 2005, focusing on the taxonomy, ecology, and biotechnology of marine fungi, and contributing over 80 scientific publications to international journals.
