Carlos Lomas is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in private equity and corporate governance. Currently serving as the Managing Director and a member of the Board of Directors at Avioparts since September 2022, Carlos also holds advisory roles, including Advisor to the CEO at Dag Shang Kagyu and as a Board member at IE Business School, where an adjunct professor position in Corporate Finance was held from July 2022 to September 2023. Previous experiences include Partner at Espiga Equity Partners, where responsibilities encompassed the entire investment process in the Spanish mid-market, and Investment Director at Espiga Capital, with board member roles in various companies. Carlos began career roles at The Carlyle Group and McKinsey & Co. after graduating with a degree in Forestry Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
