Dohyeong Lim has extensive work experience in the fields of shipbuilding and technology. Dohyeong is currently serving as the CEO of Avikus, a position they assumed in January 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering Co., Ltd. from September 2018 to December 2020, where they held the role of Head of Autonomous Ship Research Department. From 2000 to 2018, Dohyeong was employed at Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd as the Head of Dynamics Research Department. Dohyeong also had a brief stint as a Visiting Scholar at The Ohio State University from February 2008 to January 2009.

Dohyeong Lim completed a PhD in Mechanical Engineering at Seoul National University from 2014 to 2022. Prior to that, they earned a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology between 1998 and 2000. Dohyeong Lim also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Seoul National University from 1992 to 1998.
