Mike van der Velden is an experienced professional with a diverse background in project management, technical product management, and IT leadership. Currently serving as a Project Manager and Team Lead in Development Operations and Engineering Services at Avigilon since February 2013, Mike oversees technical services and lab infrastructure across various engineering disciplines. Prior to this role, experience includes positions at Simba Technologies as a Technical Product Manager, Zeugma Systems as Director of Services and Director of Information Technology, and Redback Networks in various professional services roles. Mike began a career in technology as a UNIX Systems Administrator and holds a B.Sc. in Applied Science with honors in Computing Science from Simon Fraser University.
