Marc Eijssen is an experienced professional with a strong background in technical and business development, currently serving as the Global Technical & Business Development Manager for Dyneema at Avient Corporation since September 2022. Previously, Marc has held various leadership roles at Eurocord, including Chairman of the Eurocord Liaison Team for the Machinery Directive and Vice Chairman of the Technical Committee for Ropes & Slings. With extensive experience in guiding global teams, shaping industry legislation, and representing the Netherlands in ISO and EN standard development, Marc has also contributed significant expertise in multiple capacities at DSM and in earlier roles with companies such as Intron and International Paper. Marc holds a PhD in Chemical Technology from Eindhoven University of Technology and has pursued numerous professional development programs in project management and business management throughout the career.
