Marcus A. Streips is an experienced professional in the fields of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science, currently serving as Principal Platform Product Manager (AI/ML) at AvidXchange, Inc. since November 2018. In this role, Marcus collaborates with product and engineering teams to integrate AI/ML capabilities into product pipelines and co-directs the AvidXchange Innovation Program and Incubation Lab. Prior to AvidXchange, Marcus held positions at Bank of America as Senior Manager of Data Science and Data Scientist, leading teams focused on AI governance and transparency. Marcus has a robust background in legal counsel with the U.S. Army, served as an Associate Patent Counsel, and held various leadership roles in software and data science teams. Academically, Marcus has multiple advanced degrees, including a Master's in Information and Data Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University.
