Robert Frank has had a long and successful career in the medical field. robert began their career in 1993 as a Cardiovascular Surgeon in Private Practice. In 2007, they moved to the Ochsner Clinic Foundation as Director of Cardiovascular Surgery/Chief of Quality Improvement and Utilization Review. In 2011, they joined Wayne State University Physician Group, Wayne State University School of Medicine as Chief Executive Officer, Chief Medical Officer, and Vice Dean of Clinical Affairs. In 2015, they became the Chief Medical Officer and Executive Vice President of Meridian Health Plan. In 2016, they began working for both Nonnatech and Avidhrt Inc, as Chief Medical Officer and Chief Executive Officer/Co Founder, respectively. In 2017, they became the Chief Medical Officer of Ampersand Health. In 2020, they became the Chief Medical Officer of Hygieia. Most recently, in 2021, they became the Chief Medical Officer of Pipeline Health System.
Robert Frank completed a Fellowship in Cardiac Surgery at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons from 1990 to 1993. Prior to that, they completed a Residency in General Surgery at State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn from 1985 to 1990. robert obtained their MD in Medicine from Hahnemann University from 1981 to 1985 and their A.B. in Biology, Biochemistry, and General Science from Brandeis University from 1976 to 1981.
