Michael Torres is an experienced educator and leader in outdoor education and youth development. Currently serving as the Lead Instructor at Avid4 Adventure since June 2021, Michael focuses on inspiring youth through outdoor activities and hands-on learning experiences. Previous roles include Group Facilitator at Central Michigan University, Substitute Teacher at DSST Public Schools, and College Representative for the Michigan Association of Student Councils and Honor Societies. Additionally, Michael gained valuable experience as a Camp Counselor at SpringHill Camps, emphasizing faith-based education for elementary children. Early work as a Food Service Worker at Hungry Howie's Pizza provided insights into the value of hard work. Michael holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Entrepreneurship from Central Michigan University, completed in 2022.
