Veronika Gutierrez Mendoza has over a decade of experience in education, currently serving as the IB MYP Coordinator and IB PYP Coordinator at San Antonio ISD since August 2012, along with roles such as Implementation Specialist and Middle School Teacher. Veronika is also an AVID Staff Developer at AVID Center since May 2023. Previous experience includes coaching volleyball at Providence Catholic School from June 2009 to October 2023 and facilitating the Afterschool Challenge Program at San Antonio ISD from August 2008 to May 2010. Veronika holds a Master of Science in Reading from Texas A&M University-San Antonio and a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from St. Mary's University, where Veronika also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Reading.
