William Leonardi

Director Late Stage Project Management at Avid Bioservices

William Leonardi, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in project management, business operations, and business development. William currently works at Avid Bioservices as the Director of Late Stage Project Management. Prior to this, they served as the Sr. Project Manager at the same company. At Keck Graduate Institute, Dr. Leonardi was a Ph.D. candidate and also worked as a Bioprocess Engineer. William served as the Business Development Manager at Grand Richfield Singapore, where they specialized in consulting and distributing medical and pharmaceutical products. Additionally, Dr. Leonardi worked at PT GP Biotek Indonesia as the Executive Assistant to the President/CEO and International Business Development Manager, where they played a key role in establishing and managing contacts with pharmaceutical and bio-pharmaceutical companies. William has also gained experience in business strategy consulting, marketing and system analysis, and supply chain management through their various internships and roles at Castle Biosciences, Diagon, Kft, UCLA, PT EuroLab International, Diagon,Kft, and PT Inti Diagontama Selaras. Dr. Leonardi's expertise lies in project management, business operations, business development, and pharmaceutical marketing.

William Leonardi, Ph.D. earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from UCLA in 2010. William continued their education at Diablo Valley College from 2006 to 2008, focusing on Chemistry. In 2013, they completed a Master of Business and Science degree in Business and Bioprocessing from Keck Graduate Institute. William then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pharmaceutical Discovery and Development from Keck Graduate Institute, which they obtained in 2016. In 2014, they also completed a Project Management Course and became a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, both from Stonebridge Consulting, LLC.
