Karie Toporowski, MBA, PMP, currently serves as the Financial Planning Manager in Business Operations at Avid Bioservices, a position held since September 2018. Prior experience includes roles as Audit & Risk Manager at Experian, Team Lead in Internal Audit at Verizon, and Accounting Consultant in Investment Management for Pacific Life Insurance. Karie has also contributed to Nationwide Insurance as a Senior Investments Accountant and provided assurance services as an Assurance Associate at Price Waterhouse Coopers. An alumna of The Ohio State University with an MBA in Finance and Strategy and Ohio University with a BBA in Accounting, Karie's expertise encompasses financial reporting, risk assessment, and operational improvement. Karie was selected as a StartingBloc Innovation Fellow in 2013, joining a global network dedicated to social change.
