Mike Guo, Ph.D., CFA is a seasoned professional in the biotechnology and finance sectors, currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at Aviceda Therapeutics since 2023. In this role, Mike leads corporate development efforts, financing, and strategic planning while nurturing essential relationships with investors and stakeholders. As a cofounder of TalentsBeyond, Mike contributes to streamlining talent acquisition for biotech firms. Previously, Mike held significant positions at Eventide Asset Management as Principal of Eventide Ventures, and at OrbiMed as Senior Associate in Venture Capital/Private Equity, where extensive involvement in investment sourcing and portfolio management occurred. Mike's career initiated in biotechnology equity research at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, and earlier consulting experience was gained at Precision For Medicine. Educationally, Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Wuhan University and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Boston University School of Medicine.
