John Long is an experienced Test Engineer at AVIAN, LLC since August 2008, leading various test and evaluation programs for military aviation, including the Navy Joint Air to Ground Missile and the Kiowa Warrior Cockpit and Sensor Upgrade Program. Prior to that, John Long served as a Naval Aviator for the US Navy from June 1986 to October 2008, holding roles such as the MH-60S Organic Airborne Mine Countermeasures IPT Lead and the Deputy Program Manager for the MH-53E Program. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Operations Research from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelor of Science in Public Policy Management and Social Science from Carnegie Mellon University.
