Dr. Deepak Srivastava is the President of Gladstone Institutes, the Director of the Roddenberry Stem Cell Center, and a Professor in Pediatrics, Biochemistry, and Biophysics at UCSF. Dr Srivastava has extensive experience in the biotech space, co-founding iPerian Inc. (acquired by BMS for $725M in 2014) and Tenaya Therapeutics (recently raised a $92M Series B round in 2019).

He was the President of the International Society of Stem Cell Research. He was elected to membership in the American Society for Clinical Investigation, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and the National Academy of Medicine. He published >200 peer-reviewed articles (cited >41,000 times).
