Michael Huang, CFA, is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as the Head of Real Estate at Avenue One since March 2021, where responsibilities include launching new platform products through M&A transactions, strategic partnerships, and internal builds. Prior to this role, Michael worked at Fortress Investment Group from September 2013 to March 2021, holding positions such as Managing Director and Portfolio Manager, overseeing a multi-billion dollar portfolio consisting of various fixed income and platform assets. Michael's earlier experience includes serving as a Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Carrington Capital Management from July 2006 to September 2013, focusing on distressed residential mortgage whole loans and managing deal analysis and execution. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Operations Research and Information Engineering and Computer Science from Cornell Engineering.
