Markus Prell has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of ICT System Engineering. Markus started their career at EXXETA AG in 2008 and worked there as an ICT System Engineer until 2011. Following that, they joined RapidShare AG as an ICT System Engineer, where they were responsible for administrating and configuring various systems and implementing new technologies.

In 2014, Markus joined BdU Consulting AG as an ICT System Engineer, focusing on system administration and support. Markus later freelanced for multiple companies including EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG, hte GmbH, and Innomedic GmbH, where they handled various ICT system engineering tasks such as system administration, migration, and security incident handling.

From 2017 to 2018, they were employed at BdU Consulting AG as an ICT System Engineer. Their responsibilities included Exchange administration, PowerShell scripting, IT compliance, and L2 support.

Following that, Markus worked at MTF Data AG as an ICT System Engineer, Spring Professional as an Exchange Messaging Engineer, and EOS Gruppe as an ICT System Engineer.

Most recently, they joined TEKsystems as a Secure Email Engineer, specializing in secure email systems. Currently, Markus holds the position of Senior System Engineer at Aveniq since 2023.

Markus Prell attended IHK Aachen from 2000 to 2002, where they obtained a degree in IT electronics technician. Later, from 2016 to 2020, they studied at Hochschule Wismar. However, they did not complete their degree in computer forensic science.
