Jeffrey Sixt has worked in a variety of roles in the engineering and architecture fields. Jeffrey began their career in 2012 as a Bike Mechanic at COMMUNITY RECYCLE CYCLES CIC, followed by an Architectural Assistant at Masri O Inc. Architects in 2013. In 2015, they worked as a Mechanical Engineering Student at SUMMO CORP., followed by a Mechanical Design Co-op at voestalpine Rotec Summo Corp. in 2016. In the same year, they also worked as a Manufacturing Engineering Co-op at Dynaplas Ltd. From 2017 to 2022, they worked as an R&D Product Design at Apple, and is currently employed as an Opto-Mechanical Engineer at Avegant.
Jeffrey Sixt attended the University of Waterloo from 2014 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering. Jeffrey then continued their studies at the University of Waterloo from 2019 to 2021, where they obtained a Master of Applied Science in Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering. In addition, they obtained a certification from ASME (The American Society of Mechanical Engineers) in October 2016 for the ASME Introduction to GD&T Course (Y14.5).
