Jacob Koopman CPM has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically in oligonucleotide manufacturing and process development. Currently serving as a Business Development Manager and Senior Group Leader for Oligonucleotide Process Technology at Nitto Avecia, Jacob has played a pivotal role in designing and implementing systems for two manufacturing sites, overseeing a team of eight in cGMP documentation and procedures. Previous positions include Process Transfer Coordinator and PD Chemist, where Jacob focused on ensuring effective technology transfer and optimizing manufacturing processes. Jacob's career began as a Manufacturing Chemist II at Nitto Avecia and included a stint as an Emulsions Lab Technician at Celanese. Jacob holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry from Mount St. Joseph University.
