Maksim Korolev has a comprehensive work experience in the tech industry. Maksim started their career as a Software Engineer at RetailCRM, where they contributed to building a CRM system for the e-commerce industry. Maksim then co-founded MyPOS and led a team of developers in designing a platform that served over 200 customers and 700 devices. At AvantStay, a tech startup in the hospitality industry, Maksim started as a Software Engineer and progressed to the position of Staff Engineer | Product Lead Finance. In this role, they oversee a team of 30 developers and leads the development of the Payments platform and Accounting platform, integrating systems such as Stripe, Affirm, and NetSuite. Maksim also worked as a Senior Scala Developer at RoboVoice.

Maksim Korolev attended Lipetsk State Technical University from 2008 to 2013, where they obtained a Specialist degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. In April 2014, they also received a certification in Functional Programming Principles in Scala from Coursera.
