Sjoerd Koopman is an experienced supply chain professional with a diverse background spanning various roles in logistics and operations management. Currently serving as Supply Chain Manager at Avantium, Sjoerd focuses on establishing feedstock and logistics partnerships for the FDCA plant. Sjoerd has owned SSCC, a sustainable supply chain consultancy, since July 2012, specializing in interim management across the value chain. Previous positions include Supply Chain Manager at AAK, Group Head Operations at BEERWULF®, and Operations Manager Europe at Patagonia, among others. Sjoerd holds a Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management from the International School of Economics Rotterdam and has a solid foundation in the field, enhanced by extensive experience in both operational and managerial capacities.
