Shamik Patel is a Risk Management Associate currently working at Avanti since April 2023, previously holding the role of Operations Management Trainee. Prior experience includes a brief tenure at JointValues as an ESG Researcher, where Shamik developed a comprehensive database on the top 500 Indian listed companies. Shamik also completed a summer internship at Annapurna Finance Pvt. Ltd., conducting socio-economic impact assessments of the company's products. Earlier, Shamik served as an Environment Executive at GREEN CIRCLE, INC., where responsibilities included client coordination and preparing Environmental Impact Assessments. Shamik holds a postgraduate degree in Forest Management from the Indian Institute of Forest Management and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.
