Maria Lozoya is an experienced litigation specialist currently working at Avant Insurance, a division of Specialty Program Group, LLC, since March 2023. With a strong background in claims management, Maria also serves as a team lead at Applied Underwriters since May 2022 and has held the position of senior casualty claim representative at Farm Bureau Financial Services since March 2018. Previous experience includes a role as claims manager at State Farm from May 2012 to March 2018 and as a senior claims specialist at Nationwide Insurance from March 2006 to March 2012. Maria began their career as a bank teller at TierOne Bank from August 2004 to March 2006. Maria holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Doane University, obtained from 2007 to 2011.
