Heather Ross has extensive experience in language assessment and education, currently serving as a Language Examiner at Pipplet and a CEFR Test Rater at Avant Assessment since 2022 and 2023, respectively. Long-term engagement with Cambridge University Press & Assessment English as an Assessment Specialist since 2007 includes contributions as an Item Writer for the Occupational English Test. Previous roles include English Language Lecturer at the Institute of Nursing Education, Senior Language Instructor at Sultan Qaboos University, and Director of Studies at IH Belfast. Heather holds a Bachelor's degree in French Language and Literature from the University of Stirling and a Master of Education in TESOL from the University of Edinburgh, with ongoing studies in Language Testing at Lancaster University.
