Kevin Becken is a Lead Transmission Line Engineer at AVANGRID, Inc., with over 15 years of experience in the electrical engineering field. Since April 2008, Kevin has been responsible for providing engineering input to transmission line designs and managing projects from the scoping phase to closeout, covering voltage classes from 11 kV to 345 kV. This role includes oversight of design, permitting, environmental considerations, and constructability of both overhead and underground systems. Prior to AVANGRID, Kevin worked as an Engineering Technician at Harris RF Communications from June 2006 to April 2008, where responsibilities involved testing and troubleshooting handheld radio products. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technologies from Alfred State College - SUNY College of Technology, earned in 2006.
