Alejandro Puig is an experienced professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the Director of Project Controls & Planning and Senior Project Manager Coordinator at Avangrid Renewables since June 2018. Alejandro has played a key role as Project Control Manager for the New England Clean Energy Connect project, a significant 1200 megawatt high-voltage direct current transmission line between Québec and New England. Prior to this role, Alejandro held various positions at Iberdrola Energy Projects, including Project Manager for the Salem Harbor Energy Center and Project Controller for electrical capital delivery projects. Alejandro's career began as a Civil Engineer at Iberdrola Engineering and Construction, and earlier as a Quality Supervisor at SOCOIN. Alejandro holds a Master's degree in Project Management from Universidad del País Vasco and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ITESO Universidad Jesuita de Guadalajara.
