Tawnya Coates began their career in 1996 as a Sales and Assistant Manager at PHILIPS JEWELRY OF MARION, LTD. DBA PHILIP'S DIAMOND SHOP. In 1997, they moved to Weeds Florist as a General Manager and Wedding and Event Planner. In 2001, they began working as a Freelance Artist and Seamstress. In 2006, they were a Relay Operator at URRELAY, INC. In 2019, they became an Independent Consultant, working as a Marketing and PR Professional, supporting marketing and PR efforts for 22+ U.S. and Canada based healthcare clients. Finally, in 2022, they will join Avaneer Health as a Marketing Coordinator, working with blockchain, cloud, and containerization technology to create transparency and greater security for healthcare decisions.

Tawnya Coates graduated from Cornell College in 1996 with a Bachelor's degree in Art and Geology.
