Annemarie Carlson is an experienced property manager currently employed at Avalon Housing since April 2022. Prior to this role, Annemarie served as Financial Controller at Cascabel Ventures from September 2019 to January 2021 and held the position of Vice President for Finance at the Inter-Cooperative Council at the University of Michigan from May 2017 to May 2020. In this capacity, Annemarie advised the Board of Directors on financial matters, chaired the Financial Committee, created comprehensive budgets, and addressed operational challenges. Annemarie also has a background in event coordination as a co-founder and booking manager for Ball Pit Booking, and gained legislative insight as an intern for Member of Parliament Julie Dzerowicz. Annemarie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from the University of Michigan, completed in 2019.
